General Rules of Sayokan Fighting

Sayokan is a full-contact martial art system that determines the aim of knocking down with rules. 3 referees (reviewers) serve for each match. One of the referees manages the match, one is the timekeeper and the other is the fixture referee.

Matches are played on 14m x14m tatami. There is a circle with a diameter of 2.5 cm in the middle of the tatami where the match takes place. The seniors' match is 4 minutes long. Two minutes of the match continues inside the circle and two minutes continues on the entire tatami.

Referee Regulations

In Sayokan sport, referees are called SINAYCI. There are two types of arbitration. Match (Fightin) referee and Tola-Tayçu referee.

WSF Regulation

WSF's regulations are the Constitution of Sayokan. WSF is governed by this constitution and all members around the world comply with this constitution. Instructions are created according to this constitution.
